Sega started selling the Sega Genesis in 1989. Sega made the games in the “no loading time” cassette form. Sonic the Hedgehog has been the face of Sega since their start. Genesis also had some other great games such as NBA Jam, Ecco the Dolphin, Vectorman, and Aerobiz Supersonic.

The Sega Genesis was the most happenin’ gaming system right next to the Super Nintendo. We loved the controllers and games. The first edition of the console was larger than the second. Sega really had some good things going for it and it’s a shame that they didn’t keep their legacy going into the present day.

Being THE alternative to the SNES the Sega Genesis had pretty big shoes to fill. You were the cool kid on the block if you had both a Super Nintendo AND a SEGA.

Our emulators will play all the SEGA Genesis games that you will want it to. We anticipate that there will not be any more roms created than those currently available that you can find on other websites but believe you me that there are tons and tons and tons of them available.

Search for us on facebook and like to receive updates on anything new that we will be providing to you and please tell everyone you come into contact with about our extraordinarily cool site!
